Boohoo Christmas Party

 

 

When I got told the date and dress code for my works Christmas party the first thing I did was head over to boohoo.com.  Whenever I need a dress this is the first place I will go to, they always have the biggest range of dresses in different shapes and sizes to highlight your best assets, and not to mention prices that don't blow your bank!

 

For me, Christmas parties are all about glitter and glamour, a night filled with drinks and laughter and a night to look your best.  Working in the horse racing industry I spend most of my days with my hair shoved up in a messy pony tail, bare faced, wearing a baggy t-shirt that's generally covered in some form of horse snot or poo and steel toe cap boots- mmm sexy!  So I really wanted to take this opportunity to actually dress attractively and remind my colleagues that believe it or not I am of the female gender and I can actually smell of something more pleasant than sweaty horses!  (I'm really selling my job here I know!)

My Autumn Wish List

So in just 6 days its officially my favourite time of the year!  I can't wait to be working outside in the slightly cooler weather, walking through the crunchy orange leaves and snuggling up in the evening surrounded by cinnamon scented candles, sipping hot chocolate, under a soft blanket!  -Bliss!

I'm so excited for autumn that I have officially created my autumn wish list for 2014 and of course am super excited to share it with you all and have a good chin wag about your favourite things to do in autumn!  So without further ado...

I really didn't know how to describe my style so I actually googled it and took a quiz (I'm so sad) and the results are... DRUM ROLL PLEASE! ...On trend, girly and glamorous!

My plain black tee that says 'love pugs not drugs' on it in bold white writing

At the moment I am loving my black straight cut dress that has open cut shoulders and little zebras printed over it

At the moment that would be my super soft grey knitted jumper that has a white bunny on it

My suede chunky black boots that have 3 inch heels

Guess who's back?!

I'm back and super happy to be back in the blogging community!  I had to stop blogging for a while due to work commitments but (I'd like to think) I'm better than ever and ready to dive head first back into the community!

OOTD : : Primark Perfection

 Hey guys!

So like the majority of people, I love Primark, and I mean I love it.  Whenever I go out shopping Primark is where I head first.  I love that it always has the latest trends along with the most simple basic clothing like skinny jeans and plain white vest tops, and all for a bargain price!

So as I'm pretty sure you guessed from the title of this post, this whole outfit is from Primark.  Who says you can't look good on a budget?!
 

 

 

Black Collared Blouse-  I got this blouse in Primark around a year ago, its cream with bunnies printed over it and cost around £12.00.

 

Pastel Blue Super Soft Jumper- This is such a soft cosy jumper, with a round neck and button detailing on the shoulders it is worth every penny of the £6.00 it costs.



 

Black Ankle Boots- Simple and comfy these shoes are an autumn/winter must have!  At a cost of £10 you can't go wrong.  They fit well, are easy to get on and off but keep your feet dry and warm.

 

Denim Skinny Jeans-  These jeans are a dark navy denim covered in a lighter denim colour floral print.  I can't fault these jeans, they're super soft but hold the skinny shape without bagging at the back of the knees.  They're super easy to move in and feel elasticated round the waist, allowing movement without pinching but pinging back into shape when needed.  I would have happily paid £30 for the jeans, they're such high quality.  On the label these jeans were marked as £13.00 but as soon as I got to the till they were scanned in as only £7.00! 



I added a splash of warmth to the outfit by painting my nails a soft matte brown by Sinful Colors.

 

I love this outfit, its simple, comfy and bang on trend.  All for just £35! 

Primark, this is why I love you!

 

All of these items apart from the blouse I got less than a week ago so you will still be able to find them in store :-)

Autumn Primark Haul

Hello my lovely readers!
Last week I popped into Primark to buy a few warmer bits and bobs for autumn and winter and wanted to share my buys with you.  Unfortunately there were 2 pairs of trousers and a top that are currently in the wash and therefore I couldn't include them in this haul but as soon as they re appear in my wardrobe I will be sure to post some photos of them.  A few items included in this post I didn't get last week but I did notice they were still for sale in Primark which is why I have included them in this haul.

 

 

Gold necklace (also available in silver) £3.50 (unfortunately I don't have the receipt for this item so this is a bit of a guess, it definitely didn't cost any more than this)
